French Euro Micro Regatta Completed
During the four days 21 Micro from 4 Nations have competed at the French Euro Micro in Plobsheim. As usual, Micros from Russia, Poland and Germany have gathered in Alsace together with French crews.
The fleet was covering well all three Micro Divisions with 8 Protos, 7 Racers and 6 Cruisers. On shore and on water organization was perfect . The race committee despite of some wind shift has established different race circuits during all these 4 days .We had rain and strong wind on Thursday and Friday (wind speed was in the range of 20 knots), and finally on Sunday sun and soft wind were back.
On shore Club “ACAL” team ( speaking either French English or German) has been very warm, offering coffee , snacks and beer at any time .
On Friday night a large party took place in a nearby ball room , where after dinner was given a demonstration of country dance by dancers who invited everyone to learn and practice of that dance .
On Saturday night a barbecue organize and run by MicroClass France was served in the new Club House building.
Price giving on Sunday gather all the crews who each of them received prizes.
